Description
The Esopus Lighthouse, also nicknamed the "Maid of the Meadows", on a December morning. The lighthouse was built in 1871 to replace an existing, damaged lighthouse and is the last remaining wooden lighthouse in existence on the Hudson River.

I used to live along the Hudson at Esopus (Mount St. Alphonsus). This a landmark I remember. Nice light and colour.

Thanks! The Mount is now owned by the Bruderhof so I don't think it's accessible to the public. But, I'd love to get a shot of that building some day!
